LSAB and AB Karl Hedin, Karbenning Sawmill have collaborated for several years. During 2022, the sawmill has gradually switched to LX bandsaw blades from Langshyttan and the result has been very satisfactory. The new LX bands have meant that the average running time per band has increased by over 50% and the number of bands discarded due to cracks has decreased by 30%. In the worst case, cracks in particular can mean that there will be a breakdown, and then you often have to discard not just one bandsaw blade, but all the bandsaw blades in the group. To date, not a single LX tire has cracked or caused a breakdown.
